Miasmic march
meandering.
“For what do you risk your life?”
For kith
for kin
through thick
and thin
for love
through strife
and a million
billion manifestations
of life.
“I risk my life
for Life.”

Can these bones
Come to
Life?
To love again
To hate again
To dance upon the fife?
The sockets twin
That gape within
Behold no more dear kin.
The fix’d grin
Besmirks the world
To wallow in its sin.
Once veiled in flesh
respire, refreshed
now in oblivion
forever
enmeshed.
