Death, if only could be numbed in silence
yet masses hurled insults as sirens.
Of mercy and forgiveness none could be found
but Justice in crimson rivulets abound.
From one side, scorn and mockery;
from the other came the penitent plea –
“When you come into your kingdom, remember me.”
“Today in paradise will you be,
fully forgiven, finally free.”
