Tick-tock

The hands of the clock ticked his life away,

As the nurse with her clipboard ticked his rights away.

No hellos salutations the cancer came uninvited,

No goodbyes farewells his family pretended to be uninvited.

The tick in tick-tock

Is a parasite

Your lifeblood it sucks

Along with your might.

Your sight

Your fight

They’re gone like the night.

It paints your skin white

Throws your soul to new heights

Faint thread

Cut thread

exiled

loose kite.
