If I can

If at night I can show you,

The pulsating sun radiating over stretching sea.

If in the morning I can lead your ears,

By whispering riverlet reflecting shivering slice of silver.

If at dawn on a summer’s day,

My words can procure frozen goosebumps ‘pon your skin.

If at dust on a winter’s eve,

My rimes can plop you in an armchair by a warm fire.

If in an instant,

I can open your mind to infinity.

To capture a moment,

And display perpetually.

In other words –

I will proclaim glorious undoubted victory,

If through my eyes,

I can make you see.
